The garden's shade and the panoramic terrace make for a wonderfully relaxing stay. From the terrace, you can see the Sibari plain and the imposing Mount Sellàro massif. ANTICA DIMORA PALAZZO ROVITTI is an enchanting guesthouse in the historic center, right at the foot of Mount Sellàro. It's a 17th-century residence, and the period furnishings bring a sense of the past.

The building is lovely, with a distinctive terrace and tower, and a beautiful 18th-century setting. But our August stay showed that room management needs work. We were there for two nights in a twin room adapted for four with two extra beds. There was barely enough space between the beds for the COVID period, and the extra mattresses and bed bases were far too soft. The bin was full and wasn't emptied on the first day, and the beds weren't made. Breakfast was just snacks, biscuits, and other packaged food. With more care for guests, this could have been a four-star stay.

The rooms are very spacious. The property is in a historic building in Cerchiara di Calabria, and you enter through a beautiful inner courtyard.

I expected more from a historic building. The location and garden are the only nice parts.

The building is nice, but I was very disappointed by the room. Cars kept coming and going, with loud noise late into the night. 😞
