The view from the hotel is lovely, and breakfast was filling and good. Dinner is around 20-30 euros per person. But getting here is awkward unless you have a car, and parking costs 20 euros a night. There aren't many spaces, so finding one when you return in the evening can be difficult. The bathroom and toilet had been renovated and were clean and in good shape. The rest of the room felt old, some furniture needs replacing, and a few things were broken. Heating was another problem: the old heater was very noisy and didn't warm the room enough. A dog in a neighboring room barked continuously one evening, making it almost impossible to sleep.

We’ll definitely be back. The staff made us feel so welcome, breakfast was great, and we had a wonderful room. The view of Lake Como was the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. Thanks so much! :)

We complained, but the hotel didn't seem interested in helping. Getting there from town means a very steep walk, and there's no hotel transport. Our room was extremely small and faced the front, so we couldn't see the lake. Two weddings during our stay made us uncomfortable and affected the service. One day a guest vomited by the pool. With other hotels on Lake Como offering better transport, the view here just wasn't worth the hike.

My favorite part was breakfast, with lovely views from the dining area, though it was cloudy while I was there. The hotel is beautiful inside and out, and the room was clean with toiletries provided. The bed felt quite firm, but after travelling all day from Australia it was heaven to me. From Milan, you can take a train to Saronno and then to Lago Como. An Uber from Como was about 35 euros. There are two buses too, but Sunday schedules are limited. The C110 to Cernobbio town leaves you with quite an uphill walk to the hotel.

The food and atmosphere were okay, but the evening was still ruined. I was talking to the waiter and he just walked away. I've never had that happen before, and there were inappropriate jokes too.
