Hotel Ristorante La Vignetta Cernobbio

The room was cosy, with simple furnishings, and ours had a lovely balcony overlooking the mountains and lake. The hotel is tucked away from traffic and noise, but the centre is only a five-minute walk. The owner was incredibly kind and offered to drive us from the train station. Staff were fantastic, though breakfast was average. We had a really nice stay and would recommend it.

We were celebrating a special anniversary, and the staff made it easy to arrange flowers and wine for our arrival. They were friendly, attentive, and helped make the stay feel perfect. The hot tub on the terrace was ready when we arrived and was just right. It’s a charming little hotel in a quiet spot away from the crowds, and only a five-minute walk to the ferry stop for exploring Lake Como. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Ash at reception was especially helpful, giving us clear advice on where to go and how to get there. The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful, and Ash was efficient as well. It’s a great place to stay, with a five to ten minute walk to the ferry and nice restaurants and bakeries nearby.

The hotel is spotless and tucked away somewhere quiet, yet it’s only a short walk to the main road, the lake, and plenty of restaurants. We were welcomed so warmly by Ash, who was a real star. When our taxi failed to show up for an event, Ash kindly offered us a ride, which we were incredibly grateful for. We recently stayed at la Vignetta and can’t recommend it enough. A gorgeous little gem.
