The train station for Milan is an easy walk away, so we didn't need a car. My wife and I were here for just one night while visiting our son nearby, and we wished we'd booked longer. We travel quite a bit, and this was honestly one of our best stays. The castle and grounds were spectacular, with historic furniture and family photos giving the rooms and shared spaces the feel of a real family estate. Marina welcomed us warmly but discreetly, and the breakfast was both delicious and elegant. We'll definitely come back for a longer visit.

We had a lovely time, and the hosts were incredibly welcoming. They even moved us to a large, luxurious suite with a beautiful view over the grounds. The scenery has plenty of little hidden spots that are great for photos. Breakfast was the one letdown for me: there wasn't much in the way of breakfast food, mostly desserts and some store-bought bread.

The peaceful garden setting made this feel like a royal stay, and wedding decorations were already set up when we arrived, giving the place a romantic feel. There's a pool tucked into a relaxing corner of the park. Our spacious, stylish bedroom was quiet all night, and even the bathroom fixtures suited the room's character. Breakfast in the morning was generous and thoughtfully prepared. The owner and her dogs gave us a warm welcome, and she suggested things to see in the area. A lovely experience.

We didn't want to leave and could easily have stayed longer, but we'd already booked a week at nearby Lake Como. The pool was stunning, breakfast delicious, and our room had plenty of charm. Everyone made us feel welcome at this beautiful family-run place: the father designed it, the mother runs it, and the sons lend a hand.

The only thing I missed was air conditioning, so the rooms get hot in summer. I understand it's a work in progress. Apart from that, the family's hospitality was a real highlight, starting with Lorenzo helping us with our luggage and sorting out restaurant reservations. They've renovated the castle into a beautiful historic place with real style. Breakfast was another standout, and the pool was lovely for unwinding after time in Milan, Bergamo, or the Como lake area.
