We planned on staying four days but left after two. The shared kitchen was very bare, with only the basics and dishes that weren't great. The bigger problem was the cold: there was no heating, just an air conditioner in the bedroom, and nothing in the bathroom or kitchen. They hadn't even switched on the bedroom unit to warm things up. The hosts said the temperature was normal for them, though they were wearing jackets themselves. There is a fireplace, but you have to pay for the wood, and it draws so poorly that the house quickly fills with smoke. The smell stayed on my clothes for days. I really wouldn't consider this place in winter.

Heidi's house is tucked into green hills, with a quiet, peaceful feel. Cerreto is only a few minutes away by car, and Cusano is less than fifteen minutes away. The place is simple, clean, comfortable, and has what you need, with good value for the price. The owners are kind and keep to themselves. A nice option for a few days away from city noise, or for exploring the village festivals and mountain scenery nearby.

The garden looks lovely in the photos, but in person it was more like an abandoned patch of woods. The people looking after the property were really rude and unpleasant. They say pets are allowed, but they didn't seem welcome at all. We arranged things by phone with one person, then found two different people on site, watching over the house in a very uncomfortable way. They'd show up quietly and hang around, as if expecting something to happen. Whenever we stepped out onto the terrace, they seemed to be somewhere nearby. Be careful, pet-friendly seems to be just a claim.

The owners were so kind and helpful, and the garden made this lovely little house even nicer. It was very clean and had all the comforts we needed. There's also a shared kitchen. A relaxing stay for sure!
