We spent five days and four nights here and had a lovely stay. The hotel arranged a truffle hunt right on its grounds, and helped me secretly plan a proposal to my fiancée. They found a very good photographer and set up champagne and snacks afterward. The team was responsive and went the extra mile with the proposal, and later helped me ship some wine internationally. Our room was very nice, and the in-house restaurant serves excellent Piedmontese food in a more restrained style. The hotel is a little farther from the other wineries and wine towns, but if you’re driving, allow another 10-15 minutes. It’s very manageable. I’d definitely recommend a visit.

Everything about the place was incredible, from the beauty of the site and the quality of the hotel construction to the spa and Faula restaurant. The people were just as memorable. Brunella at Faula made our dinner special with her warmth, Andrea shared the Piedmont wine experience I’d been hoping for as an expert and wine lover, and Emmanuela worked her magic at the spa with such passion. Alberto handled breakfast at Faula with a smile, kindness, and real professionalism.

Right in the Langhe wine country, this beautiful contemporary spa resort makes a luxurious place to unwind between exploring the region. Wine lovers will find it a great base.

We loved the spa and the pasta-making class, and the pool itself is beautiful. The mood there was less peaceful than we’d hoped, though, because a family with several young children let them take over the pool. It’s a plus if you’re traveling with kids, but keep in mind that the hotel isn’t adults-only. Our suite was very nice, but the countryside views weren’t as open as we expected. There were ants on the balcony; staff sprayed when we asked, but they were still there. It’s a wonderful, very high-end hotel, with attentive service that can feel a little rigid.
