Dinner was a little hard to sort out, but Mrs. Damaride made us feel right at home. She was so kind and accommodating. Our room was spacious and quiet, with its own bathroom, and the whole privately owned house was spotless. We could use the kitchen for breakfast and tea or herbal tea. Breakfast was Italian style, and the price was very reasonable. The location is handy too, right by the main road between Chivasso and Casale Monferrato, in the heart of Monferrato and close to places of cultural interest.

The bed was really comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless. There were lots of bedbugs around at the time, but the well-fitted mosquito nets kept them all out. The sheets smelled lovely, and there was a comfy armchair opposite the bed, a TV, and extra blankets if we needed them. My partner and I stayed at Casa Giordano in October 2018 and had a wonderful time. It felt more like a proper apartment than a B&B, even though there was no kitchen, and had all the comforts we needed. We travel a lot as a pretty worldly couple, and have come across places advertised as B&Bs that had bathrooms shared with other rooms. Awful, even if we can manage when we have to. Casa Giordano was nothing like that. We’d go back if we get the chance. Thanks for everything. Denise and Roberto.

The owner was really kind and helpful, and the room was clean and roomy. The apartment sits among greenery, about 20 km from Casale, which is easy to reach. Breakfast is included and pretty standard. The one drawback is that there’s no TV.

It’s easy to get to and surrounded by greenery, with very friendly hosts. The furnishings feel retro but are comfortable, and the decor is minimal. There’s no television.
