The Palazzo was stunning and very reasonably priced, with amazing views from the roof if you’re game to climb the ladder with some wine. I almost didn’t want to review it because it felt like a gem we’d found for ourselves. The town is fantastic too, though the man operating the cable car took exception to my size and all my baggage. My daughter visited the gelateria downstairs every day, and they even taught her a few Italian words.

Certaldo is a lovely town, with great views and restaurants, and the Fiametta apartment is ideally placed for exploring while staying remarkably quiet. It was easy to park, and having the car right there was handy. Inside, it was spacious and spotless, with a complete kitchen, stove, microwave and washing machine, plus a wonderful double shower. It made relaxing at home just as easy as enjoying the area. A charming mix of modern convenience and historic surroundings. I’ve stayed in several Certaldo flats, and this one was the best.

A stunning apartment in a lovely town, and a great base for a Tuscany holiday!

Access takes permission because the area is a restricted traffic zone. The place itself is beautiful and full of character.

Really fantastic. I’d recommend staying at the property itself.
