The view over the hills, wineries, olive trees and San Gimignano was our favorite part, especially with how quiet it was around the property. The pool was big, clean and deep, with olive trees to relax under and comfortable sun chairs. The rooms were spacious and beautifully designed. The place had just been completely renovated and opened this spring. Its location is another big plus, with historic cities and villages nearby for day trips. Everyone on staff was kind and friendly, and the food was great too. Honestly, it was the best place we've stayed in Italy so far. We'll definitely come back next time we're in the area!

The pool and friendly staff made this a lovely stay, and breakfast was great too. Set among the rolling Tuscan countryside, the resort is in a perfect spot. 10 out of 10.

We only planned to stay a week at Borgo Elissa, and by the end we wished we could have stayed longer. It was such a romantic, relaxing place, and the pool has a gorgeous view. The room was comfortable and spotless, with a lovely rain shower and a window view over the pool and Tuscan landscape. The staff welcomed us with a smile every day and were always ready to help. We really enjoyed the well-prepared breakfast, and they gave us good tips on where to eat. The setting may feel secluded to some, but that’s part of its charm. It worked perfectly as a base for Pisa, Firenze, San Gimigiano, Volterra and Siena. The drives were beautiful, and it was lovely to return and unwind by the pool. I can’t wait to go back.
