The views are hard to beat: the old town, Tuscan hills and landscape, and San Gimignano far off in the distance. We found warm, friendly hosts and well-equipped apartments right in the heart of Tuscany. Kind regards, Lucia! Hope to meet again soon! Beata, Maja & Jaś.

Certaldo is absolutely fantastic, and the people here are lovely. The location is beautiful and great value for the price. It was a little hot, but manageable, and our apartment stayed in the shade for most of the day. There are some very lovely cats too.

Il Torrione is close enough to walk to Certaldo, with restaurants and the train station about 15-20 minutes away. We especially recommend Il Delfino. The views are breathtaking, and there are a few nearby paths for pleasant walks among the vineyards. The rooms were tidy and had everything we needed, with Tuscan-style decor that felt right for the setting. It’s a peaceful place with beautiful views, run by very nice people. Nine cute cats may keep you company and make the stay even more enjoyable.

A quiet village feel in a secluded spot, with a great viewpoint. San Giminiano stays on the horizon throughout the day, and Certaldo Alto’s castle is close enough to reach on foot or by jogging.
