Altamarea Residence & Hotel

The apartments were spacious, welcoming, and well laid out, with clean, well-kept rooms and lovely roomy terraces overlooking the sea. It's a comfortable place for either a short or longer stay, and I noticed the care put into the details. The staff were always courteous, attentive, and available, which made the stay even better. Being right by the sea, opposite the beach resorts, made beach days easy and stress-free. The value also felt excellent for the location and services. I stayed in Cervia and found this property an excellent choice. It was a really nice experience, and I'd gladly do it again. Highly recommended.

The two-room apartment was roomy, had a sea view, and was spotless. That's about where the good points stop. The residence itself is very basic. The bed was extremely hard and narrow, and the bedspread dragged on the floor. There was no toaster, kettle, or even dish soap. When I asked about the soap, I was told they don't provide it. The kitchen drawer's opening mechanism seemed worn, even though the furniture looked new. The sea-view bedroom faces buildings only a few metres away, so there is no privacy at all with the curtains open. Finding your way through the garage is a maze, and there are no signs to the rooms, just emergency exit signs. The male staff were very unfriendly, almost rude.

The apartment was clean and spacious, but it was a two-room unit with very basic kitchen facilities. We were told in the confirmation that breakfast was included, then found out only when we arrived that a website error meant it wasn't. Families aren't welcome: children aren't wanted in the restaurant or other areas. The staff were unfriendly and didn't match the reputation they'd been given. We won't stay again.
