The food and wine felt beautifully thought out, with every dish balanced and full of flavor. I’ve been back several times and tried both tasting menus, and I’d happily recommend the experience. The staff are warm, charming, helpful, and really know their food and wine. Especially in such difficult times, dinner at “1883 Restaurant” in Cervignano felt like a wonderful way to support hospitality. A memorable evening, perfect from start to finish.

The set menu is good value, and the staff are terrific, always willing to do extra for you. It's run by an enthusiastic young team and the menu has a fairly refined mix of meat and fish. Our first meal was good, the second even better. Four stars from me for now, with a very positive feeling about what's ahead.

Marco was such a pleasure to chat with, and we came away knowing more about Italy and the food and wine we’d chosen. We had the four-course beef menu with wine pairings, and every course seemed to top the one before. The food was spectacular, and the wine list was just as good. If you’re nearby, this is a must. We’ll be thinking about this place for ages.

We nearly skipped dinner because we were watching our budget, but the room was well priced and the staff were so polite, helpful, and focused on guests that we decided to eat there. I’m very glad we did, it was delicious. The restaurant feels like a promising upscale place, with elegant, understated surroundings and soft Italian music. The food was excellent for this kind of restaurant and still reasonably priced. We stayed one night, two people and a small dog. The rooms are new and tidy, while the building has kept its old 1883 appearance. It’s in a friendly little Italian town near Grado, with good prices for the area and air conditioning in the rooms.

The private parking was excellent, and we were very pleased with the room and breakfast. The restaurant menu just wasn't to our taste.
