Amazing.

Cervo is a marvel, perched above the sea. Staying right in the village center, with a view of the water and part of the big square, made it easy to switch off from everything else. The room is unusual and well set up. There are thoughtful little extras, like water to drink when you get back thirsty from the beach and coffee pods. The air conditioning was welcome, though a bit noisy. The owner was extremely kind and attentive, and made sure we had a full, well-rounded service. The beach is wonderful and only a few hundred meters away, about a 10-minute walk downhill and 15 minutes back up. Parking was the main downside. It would be great if the properties could arrange reserved spaces with the local administration. As things stand, there are only a couple of off-street or paid parking spots, even through an app, if you can find one. Many thanks, and goodbye.

This is a shared apartment with three separate rooms, and just one of them has a balcony. The building is historic, as the photos show, but the room and bathroom badly need a complete renovation. It looks like no investment has gone into them for a long time.

The manager was kind and helpful, and the place has a convenient, charming setting. The rooms aren’t especially modern, but they’re decent value. The bells ringing now and then sound quite romantic. The trouble is that the water often stops running. You should make sure you have what you need to deal with that.
