I came for a two-day break and found far more than I expected. The suite had a whirlpool tub and a sitting area that was just right for reading and writing. The furniture, fabrics and finishes are lovely, and everything feels carefully chosen and cared for. Stepping into the garden, and especially into the rooms, felt like leaving ordinary time behind. Silvia and Luana have made a little paradise in the picturesque center of Cesenatico, in Piazza delle Conserve. The low, colorful houses, tidy cobblestones and special atmosphere are all around you. The location makes it easy to explore, with the sea about a 10-minute walk away along the pleasant Leonardo Canal. The historic center puts everything close by, including good restaurants, a vegan option, a charming bar and wine bar, and lovely views. It felt very safe, even as a woman traveling alone. I hope I can return when the garden is in bloom.

We stayed in the cozy, beautifully furnished “Le Conserve” suite, and it was an ideal choice for my wife and me, especially over Christmas. The harbor, main events and Marineria nativity scene are all just steps away. The B&B sits in a renovated historic house in its namesake square in the town center, near Porto Leonardesco. The square is known for its restored 16th-century “conserve,” the ice wells once used to preserve fish and other produce. These days there’s a daily farmers’ market there, as well as summer events. Guests share a garden, and bicycles are available, including for trips to the beach in summer. Highly recommended.

La Casina feels almost magical, like finding something important you didn’t realize you’d lost. It’s much more than a room for the night, and the kind of place you keep wanting to come back to.

The only letdown was that, despite being a bed and breakfast, breakfast wasn’t included. Still, we had a wonderful stay and will definitely return. The owner was incredibly kind, and the B&B was beautiful, meticulously cared for down to the details, and had air conditioning.

La Casina is perfectly placed for enjoying Cesenatico, and its garden is a lovely little spot to relax. The rooms are spotless and tastefully furnished. You can see the care and precision in every corner. The owners are very kind, attentive to what guests need and always available. We were enchanted by La Casina delle Conserve.
