Hotel Astor

The hotel was in poor condition, and it wasn't a very good experience.

We stayed in June, when they were still getting started for the season during our first two days, and had a lovely time. Mr. Fulgenzio made guests feel right at home as host, and all the staff were very courteous. The pool is small but works well, and the kids had a great time in it. Rooms were clean, and the food was good for the quality and price. We enjoyed ourselves, recommend it, and will come back. Stefania from Turin

The location made it easy to get everywhere, and the bus even stops right outside. The staff were kind and helpful, especially Lucia, the head waiter. The dining room and bedrooms both need renovation, though. During our stay the room cleaning felt superficial, even though it was very clean when we arrived. There were no extractor fans, so cooking fumes went into the dining room and made it smoky for guests. Air conditioning feels like a basic expectation these days. For the price I paid, I had a good holiday, but I'd like to see some improvements soon.

The food was really excellent, and our rooms were very clean, with fresh towels and sheets. Everyone was so welcoming and kind. The waiters Lucia Cristina and Filippo were fantastic. Compliments to the team, I'll definitely come back. The building just needs a little more attention.
