Hotel Mediterraneo

The staff were nice, but the pool being closed from 12:30 to 15:30 was really inconvenient with the kids. That's why I'm giving it four stars.

I'm still here for the August bank holiday, and I felt I had to write about what a great week this has been. This was my first stay, and for the price I found the quality very good. You can't expect luxury for very little, but what you get is fair and good value. The food is a real highlight. It's a generous buffet, and you can go back for more without any fuss. There weren't those long queues, service moved quickly, and empty dishes were replenished straight away, probably thanks to Antonio, the manager, who was always available and went out of his way. I also liked that the restaurant always had everything we needed. My room was 106, on the first floor, a double for single use with a balcony, air conditioning and excellent daily cleaning. Parking is inside the building. There's a pool with Azzurro Club entertainment, and everyone was friendly and helpful. I enjoyed sitting on the comfortable outdoor terrace, where Clementina made drinks and was both knowledgeable and helpful. There are two elevators, both working, though you may wait a little when it's busy. A washing machine is available for mothers who need to do laundry. The location is excellent, just steps from the beach. The affiliated Bagno Piera often has special events and happy hours. I can't think of what else to ask from a three-star hotel. Five stars from me, and thanks for a lovely week. I'd recommend it to everyone.

We had a lovely stay at Family Hotel Mediterraneo in Cesenatico. The entertainment team were excellent, skilled and engaging both at the hotel and at the partner beach club a few minutes away. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the welcoming staff were always helpful and attentive to guests.

For what we paid, we couldn't have asked for more. The hotel is a little dated, but it's clean and well looked after. The pool is lovely, and the nearby beach is convenient, with an umbrella and two lounge chairs included. The lifeguard was quite a character and very friendly. The restaurant is self-service, so there was always some bustle as people came and went with their plates. The food was good, and the waitresses were all kind. They'd even prepare an alternative for the children if there wasn't anything they liked. Entertainment was available without being pushy. Thanks for a wonderful holiday in Cesenatico!
