Hotel Moja

Clean.

For a two-day room-only stay, Hotel Moja fell short of what I expected from a three-star hotel. The beachfront location is excellent, but the room’s dated, poorly maintained furnishings and the ants I found there made me decide I wouldn’t return. Prices are about what you’d expect in Cesenatico, but the condition and other hassles didn’t feel worth it. Parking was another problem. There are very few indoor spaces, and from May 1st all parking in Cesenatico is in the paid Blue Zone, so you could end up spending quite a bit extra. The hotel works well as a place to stay right by the beach if room condition and parking convenience aren’t concerns.

We were very disappointed with our stay. The room was dirty when we arrived, with hair everywhere. The bathroom was old and unsanitary, we had no rags to dry ourselves after showering, and the sheets were torn and stained. The chair was broken, and the safe was in such poor shape that it couldn’t be used. The owner does try to be courteous, but even a small request seems to be treated as a nuisance, and the response feels defensive and unwelcoming. Compared with other three-star hotels in the area, the difference is enormous. This place doesn’t even reach one star in my view. A complete disgrace for its category.

I slept well here, which matters a lot to me because I have trouble sleeping. The soundproofing was excellent, and the mattress and pillows were good quality. The large room and bright, equally spacious terrace were clean, and the sea-facing location is fantastic. Covered parking was available at a reasonable price. The owner was helpful and professional, and so was the rest of the staff. A pleasant stay and very good value for money. I was very satisfied.
