Cetara Camping Amalfitan Coast

Finding somewhere to pitch a tent for the night on the Amalfi Coast felt like a daunting task for my partner and me. Then, just as the sun was setting, we came across this special place. Roberto, one of the owners, welcomed us warmly and even offered to help carry our things up the steps. Violante, his partner and co-owner of the campsite, was there to show us around. We soon saw what lovely people they both were. They invited us to share pasta they’d made and a delicious bottle of local wine. The herbs in the dish were fresh from the garden, grown right there. It’s a peaceful setting focused on wellness and relaxation, with eco-friendly lighting and a beautiful view of Cetara and the surrounding mountains. Violante kindly helped Lucia, my partner, set up our tent while Roberto and I sorted out dinner. In the morning, they even offered us breakfast. It’s the first and only campsite overlooking the Amalfi Coast, a welcoming spot for people who want a special place, at a bargain price compared with other facilities in the area. It’s also just steps from the sea and essential services. If you love nature and good company, it’s a real treat. Roby and Viola gave us lots of tips on what to do nearby and places to visit as we continued south towards Cilento. The stay added so much to our vacation, both as an experience and on a human level.
