Luigi was kind and very helpful, and his English was excellent. The place is in the middle of a picturesque Italian village, near the sea, mountains, and good food. It was spotless and ready for us, with a nice view over the village and mountains. If we come back to the Amalfi Coast, we’ll stay here again.

Cetara is a small fishing village, away from the crowds in Amalfi and Capri. At least in the off-season, not many locals speak English, but they’re polite and do their best to help people like me who don’t speak Italian. Luigi was a fantastic, friendly host, and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was amazing, don’t skip it.

This albergo diffuso is a great choice for spending a few days in Cetara. It’s just meters from the beach and main restaurants, and the staff are very friendly and ready to help. Keep in mind you’re staying in a traditional old room in a traditional house, not a standard hotel room. Highly recommended.
