Mr. Giovanni welcomed us so politely when we arrived in Santa Maddalena for New Year’s Eve and the first few days of the year. He also showed us his land, where he grows grapes, olives, and vegetables and keeps animals. Everything was beautiful and very well managed. He let us taste one of his bottles of wine and oil, and both were very good. We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to return.
