The person running the place was really helpful and easy to reach. We stayed a couple of nights; it was inexpensive and felt clean. Our room wasn't great, and there was no shower in the bathroom, but for what we paid, it was about what we expected.

Everything was clean and looked after, and it worked well as a simple stopover. A fridge would be a good addition, since our beers were warm by the time we arrived. The kitchen could also use better use of the space; that large table feels a bit silly in there.

I ended up without a room and still got charged. The guesthouse had accepted my booking request with special wishes, then rejected them later without allowing me to cancel for free. The owner was unfriendly, unhelpful, and stubborn.

The garden and the area around the house are lovely, and inside it was clean and really comfortable. Gianni is a very nice person, too. We’ll come back!

I was left out in the cold in the middle of nowhere with a baby in the car. I was driving from far away and asked Gianni well in advance if he could wait 30 minutes, until 21:30, but he refused. I also asked if he could leave the key somewhere or suggest another option, and he said no to everything, telling me the door would be shut if I wasn't there before 21:00. When I asked for a refund the next day, he blocked me and refused. If that isn't a scam, I don't know what is.
