At 74 euros a night for two adults, two kids, and a motorhome, this didn't feel worth it, even outside high season. The shower facilities were poor, there was no soap or paper in the toilets, and the plot wasn't nice. The pool would have cost another 15 euros per adult. The cabin, restaurant, and pool glamping setup might be five stars for some, but I wouldn't recommend it to motorhome or camper travelers.

The price for this dirty trailer park is extortionate, especially when many places have great views. Our room had cigarette butts scattered on the ground outside. The rooms, huts, and bungalows are small, worn out, and badly in need of renovation. The materials, fixtures, and fittings are awful. It's beyond basic, it's a depressing place to stay.

We really liked the restaurant and found the food tasty, though I would have preferred more cheese in the polenta. The new waitress, a blonde girl whose name we didn't get, was especially lovely and made the experience better. The rest of the staff were friendly too, always available and able to handle our requests. There's a great view and lots of hikes nearby. We walked to La Magdalene and then Chamois, a nice, easy route that took about six hours there and back at a relaxed pace. The rows of permanently parked caravans really spoil the view and atmosphere of such a beautiful place. Don't book the standard bungalow, it's expensive for a small space, and our window looked straight at a caravan. Choose a suite if you want a mountain view, or you may be disappointed. The listing says pets are welcome, but we could only bring ours by booking a bigger room, which felt like pressure to upgrade. The standard bungalow had no carpets or anything on the floor, so I don't see why dogs couldn't be allowed there. The pool and sauna cost an extra 10€/person for an hour, which I found really expensive.

Definitely not a place I'd recommend for couples. The website and hotel.com describe a relaxing mountain bungalow and spa, but instead we were surrounded by permanently parked trailers, and the indoor pool was full of children's echoes. The bungalow and “spa” were way overpriced for that trailer park setting. The restaurant served large portions, but the food was super salty and soaked in grease.

You do need a car, but it's quiet and close enough to get to the ski slopes. There's a good restaurant, plus a pool, hot tub, and sauna, though those cost extra. I love this place and think it's great value.
