Trieste Chianciano

We came away disappointed. The room was a catastrophe.

I enjoyed it so, so much!!!

That view of the “green sea” is wonderful, and I loved having the small garden outside and the terrace upstairs. They make it feel like a quiet little oasis. I’ve stayed here twice, and each time I’ve felt more at home in Chianciano. The manager is always around and does her best to meet my needs. Breakfast has lots of variety and there’s plenty of it, and the rooms are spotless. It’s a beautiful but basic hotel, so don’t come expecting luxury or designer style. Prices are very low, though, and the treatment you get for the money is spectacular. I highly recommend it.

The value for money was outstanding, and the staff made us feel right at home. Mr. Luigi welcomed us warmly and was thoughtful, and the waitress and waiter were genuinely kind. Our double room was clean and comfortable, with air conditioning. Breakfast was generous, with sweet and savory choices plus fruit. The hotel is also well placed as a base for exploring the Val d'Orcia. We’d happily return next time we’re nearby.
