The pool and green gardens were a lovely place to cool off in the summer afternoons, and the restaurant served delicious food at good prices. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and clean, and the peaceful setting made for a restful night. The property is beautifully cared for, with decor that suits the history and character of the area. Silvana, her husband, and Marco did so much to make us feel welcome. We had a memorable stay at Case Passamonte, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking to relax somewhere charming.

We spent a week here and could hardly bring ourselves to leave and explore the area. It’s peaceful, the hosts are wonderful, and it felt like a little bit of paradise.

I only stopped in for lunch with friends, but the food, service, and decor all made a strong impression. The waiters were polite and helpful, and the dishes were very well prepared and presented. Highly recommended.

Walking with a view of the sea and watching the sunset made for a wonderfully relaxing finish in the Hyblaean countryside. Lunch itself felt almost like a family meal, with plenty to enjoy, from appetizers with cheese and little rustici to risotto, Ragusano-style pork shank, and dessert made with local products. There are olive groves ringed by pine woods, and the mountain air is just steps away from home. Having lunch scented by the olive trees was a lovely way to unwind, and a real taste of Chiaramonte's local food.
