The rooms are clean, though nothing remarkable. The owner is kind and a bit eccentric. This is the best place in Chiari, about a five-minute drive from the train station.

4/10
The breakfast buffet was okay, the daytime staff were friendly, and there was a secure enclosed parking area. But we booked two rooms for a business trip and slept terribly. The rooms seemed very dusty, and we had runny noses and coughs that went away after we left. Noise was a big problem too: the refrigerator, heater, and a dripping shower kept me awake. The TV was tiny, maybe 15-17 inches, and placed so badly it was impossible to watch. WiFi was painfully slow and sometimes didn't work at all, even at midnight. For this price range, it's awful value if all you need is somewhere to sleep. Maybe families are mainly paying for the outdoor area for their kids. Funny enough, the rooms were the worst part of the hotel.

The place itself is quite nice, but I think the bar and restaurant have closed for good.

The courtyard is lovely, the staff are kind, and the rooms are spacious and beautiful.

A good place, though I ran into WiFi problems.
