Hotel San Pietro

The sea views are beautiful, and the hotel is right by the water, but the price is far too high for what you get. There's no air conditioning, just a fan, and the WiFi doesn't work in the rooms. You can only use it at reception. The hotel is also so poorly soundproofed that noises from neighboring rooms come through as if you were staying in them. A place to avoid.

The location is lovely, but the stay wasn't worth the price. There was blood on one of the pillowcases, and dinner was among the worst meals we had during our two weeks in Italy. The free WiFi doesn't reach the rooms either. There must be a better deal at another hotel. Beware!

This was the worst place I've ever stayed. The room had dust on the fan, lamp, radiator, and even the mirrors. The staff member we dealt with was extremely arrogant, unpleasant, and a liar. She said that if we didn't like the room, we could go sleep on the beach. We had selected a specific room from the section where you choose the exact room, rather than from the hotel's general photo gallery. But they gave us the room shown in my attached pictures, then claimed the one we'd reserved was only promotional, even though there were just two renovated rooms. After Booking help heard from both sides, they concluded it looked like an attempt to deceive people. I gave one star only because zero wasn't an option. The 'hotel' is a joke, and the people working there should be ashamed. Grazie, ma no, grazie!

The young guy at reception was especially friendly, and the rest of the staff were very nice too. Our room had a great mountain view, though we could hear the trains. The shower was level with the bathroom floor, so water went everywhere, and there was mould on the toilet. The room also smelled of vinegar, maybe from the cleaning product. WiFi didn't reach our fourth-floor room. Just keep in mind that people expect different levels of service, and life in Liguria moves at a relaxed pace.
