Loft Garibaldi Rooms And Suites

We loved staying at Loft Garibaldi and are already thinking about coming back. The accommodations were great, and the host was spectacular. It’s right in the center of Chiavari, a beautiful town on the Ligurian coast.

The location is strategic, and the loft has a cozy entrance, though it does limit privacy. The room has unusual furnishings and a large bathroom, but there’s no refrigerator, and the shower looks a bit worn. The room door doesn’t block sound well, so we could hear people talking in the living room and the neighbors coughing at night. I needed an invoice for a business appointment, but couldn’t get one.

Pier made us feel at home right away, with a warm welcome and attentive help whenever needed. The rooms were quiet, clean, and tastefully furnished. The place is carefully designed and refined, right in the center and a short walk from the sea, making it convenient for exploring the city.

The owner was kind and helpful, and we had a very positive stay for a reasonable price. The loft takes up the third floor of a historic building on one of Chiavari’s main streets. Its furnishings are a little eccentric and sometimes over the top, but the common spaces are welcoming and spacious, with a lovely terrace overlooking Via Garibaldi and a handy kitchen stocked with free water and coffee and everything needed to cook. Three rooms open onto the shared reception and lounge area. Our room was basic but cared for, reasonably clean, and had a nice private balcony and a very large bathroom with a shower.
