Albachiara Residence

The train line just outside the western-facing windows was the one downside. I got used to it after a couple of days and stopped noticing it. Still, this was one of my best vacation decisions. We spent a few days here with family at the beginning of June, using it as a great base to explore Puglia and Abruzzo. The manager was very kind and helpful, many thanks. The rooms were spacious, beautifully decorated, comfortable, and had what we needed; parking was ample and felt safe. The area is quiet, with a great beach and good restaurants nearby. Poland is a long way away, but if you really want to make the trip, you can find a way. I hope to come back. I love this place and this part of Italy.

Lucia was kind and welcoming, and the receptionist was always smiling and ready to answer my questions. The underground parking connects to the apartments by elevator, which was very handy. Getting out of the garage can take some care, though it was lovely to find my car cool on muggy days. I stayed for 15 days, from July 15 to 29, 2023, in a bright, spotless apartment at Albachiara Residence in Marina di Chieuti, right by the seafront. It had all the appliances I needed, including a washing machine, dishwasher, oven, mini-oven, and kettle. Both rooms had their own air conditioning. There were mosquito nets and electric shutters on the windows, plus a large sea-view balcony with a little sink, drying rack, table, and chairs. I think the Residence deserves its 5-star rating. Congratulations to the owners on their choices, and well done to Lucia for her warm welcome.

The residence is conveniently placed, around 15 minutes from Campomarino and Serracapriola. Serracapriola is worth seeing for its castle and lovely countryside views, and I recommend Pizzeria Gino on Corso Garibaldi for excellent pizza and local specialties, especially pampanella. The only drawback is the nearby train station. There isn't much traffic, it's quiet late at night, and after a while you barely notice the trains, helped by the double-glazed windows. We stayed just 4 nights and had a great time. The apartment was clean with simple, modern furnishings and had air conditioning, a washing machine, hairdryer, safe, smart TV, and electric shutters. It opened onto a nice terrace that could use shade in summer for meals. Across the street are the beach resorts, including Lido Sirena, which has takeaway if you don't want to cook.

Our host was very kind and helpful, and pets are warmly welcomed here. The place was clean, pleasant, and comfortable, with the needed linens, a washing machine, smart TV, and air conditioning. Even with the railway nearby, it stayed quiet, partly thanks to the double-glazed windows.
