Camping Village Miramare

Getting to the bus means walking down the road to the stop at the far end, and that road feels horrible and dangerous to walk along. Music from this campsite and the one next door played loudly until 11 pm, which may suit people who like that and is good for kids. There were lots of mosquitoes, and the site flooded during a storm. The pitches themselves were large, level, and shady. Toilets were cleaned regularly, though the automatic flush was silly, and the baby bath area was good.

We stayed three days in a tent and it was perfect for us. The campsite was very quiet, the sanitary facilities were cleaned constantly, and the staff were always helpful.

For €32 per pitch for two people and a tent, this was an excellent campsite. It had everything we needed, the hygiene standards were high, and the staff made us feel welcome.

The restaurant food was good and reasonably priced, though it shut from 1-7 pm, so there was nothing to eat at the campsite during those hours. The camping area is split in two, and the side across the road is a bit far from the beach. We were first given a pitch there, but asked to move closer to the beach and they accommodated us. We had our caravan for 8 nights in August this year. Our pitch was a good size for a family of four and had some tree shade. The campsite was clean and well equipped, with a well kept private beach and pool. Staff checked the very clean toilets and showers regularly, and there were enough that I never had to wait. I'd recommend Camping Miramare, and think it deserves 4 🤩.
