The host made us feel very welcome, and the service was great. We had an amazing lunch, especially the rabbit and veal with potatoes. We recommend stopping here after visiting the Sacra :)

We got a really warm, friendly welcome as soon as we came in, which was especially appreciated on a cold, rainy day. The food was good and well prepared, and the pasta course was our favorite. The wine list was very small, but we found a tasty Barbaresco.

It’s conveniently located near the parking area and right where the monastery trail begins. Service was quick and friendly. The food and drinks were very average, though: the pasta was overcooked, the wine watery, and the cappuccino roughly bitter.

The food is very good at this cute, typical restaurant. You can keep it simple with a quick pasta or order several courses, from delicious antipasti through to dessert. It’s perfectly placed for a visit to the Sagra di San Michele, and parking is free if you eat here.

There’s plenty of outdoor seating at this nice restaurant at the bottom of the path up to the Abbey. We had lunch here after our visit, enjoyed the good food, and found the staff very friendly.
