Villa Febea - Casa Febea-casa Febea

We’ve rented Villa Febea twice, first in 2019 for a family reunion, then in September 2025 for a yoga and meditation retreat. Jacopo and his team worked incredibly hard both times to make sure everything was just right. Since our first stay, he’s made so many improvements, including a well stocked wine cellar with family wines and plenty of others. On this last trip we used several services Jacopo offers: vans for winery visits and Siena, plus guest pickups and drop offs. The villa chefs made breakfast every morning and some lunches and dinners, all amazing. Alice, the concierge, speaks perfect English and is happy to help with anything. Thank you for such an amazing visit. I’d highly recommend Villa Febea for larger groups. There are also two smaller villas with three bedrooms and separate pools on the property. We’ve stayed in Casa Febea.

The setting is stunning. The drive up from the gate has that unmistakable Tuscan feel, and the location makes getting around easy: Centro Estruco and a Pam Superstore are five minutes away by car, Chiusi station is a quick trip on a convenient back road, and the A1 is easy to reach. I’ve been renting houses and other non-hotel places for over 20 years, and this is near the top of my list. I’ve stayed here several times, and Jacopo keeps making improvements. This year, guests could help themselves to wine from the cellar and have a simple charge added to the bill, so there’s no need to run into town when dinner turns into a festa. The properties are immaculate, the pools pristine each morning, and even the grass is perfectly manicured. Jacopo watches every detail to keep things clean, functional, and beautiful. Alice is an absolute professional and can make things happen if you need something. The kitchen, serving, and cleaning staff are hardworking, efficient, and incredibly nice. I cooked for 18 people each night, and Lucia, Sabrina and Natasha were as good as any staff I’ve worked with in my 30 years as a chef. I can’t recommend this place enough.

I photographed a recent wedding at Villa Febea, and the staff were wonderful on the day, friendly, attentive, and a joy to be around. The views are beautiful, with lots of lovely photo spots in any weather. They have a rain backup plan and a nice tent for outdoor receptions. Jacopo and his significant other were responsive, helpful, and thoughtful from the start, including when I arrived in Chiusi and took a taxi to one of the villas where I was staying. It’s only a few minutes from town, and you can get there by taxi. I’d recommend Villa Febea for a small wedding in Tuscany or a trip through the area.

Casa Febea is the three-bedroom villa with a pool and two round silos. We spent a very enjoyable week there, cooking several meals at the villa after days out exploring lovely towns: Chiusi, Cita Della Pieve, Montepulciano, Bagni San Filipo, Civita di Bagnioreggio, San Gimignano, and Florence. The large estate is gated, with several properties along the same beautiful Cyprus-lined driveway. They’re spaced far enough apart for privacy, but close enough to work well for a large group renting all three villas. Jacopo, Alice, and their team look after the property and its guests wonderfully. We arranged our own days, but they also offered tours, classes, and private transport. Grazie mille Jacopo and Alice.
