The one real advantage was the location, since we had to catch an early flight from Rome Ciampino Airport. We stayed just one night, and I would never return. The room floor looked as if it hadn’t been vacuumed in months. The bathroom and toilet were even worse, old and so dirty I didn’t want to look at them. The bed and pillow were very uncomfortable, and the bed made strange noises whenever we moved. There was also a very loud sound from upstairs, maybe a toilet or shower, that made it impossible to sleep. I’ve seen plenty of comments about dirty rooms, so I don’t understand why the owner hasn’t done anything. The worst experience ever for me. Avoid it at all costs.

This works for an airport stopover, but I wouldn’t expect much beyond that. The room seemed clean and had new flooring, a mini fridge, and Wi-Fi. There’s a lift too, handy if you have a suitcase. The price matched the quality. Planes are loud overhead, as you’d expect. There’s a fan, but no air conditioning, so I imagine it could get very hot in July or August.

The station is only a two-minute walk away. My stay was pleasant, and both the room and bathroom were very clean.

The area is noisy, which didn’t help, and the free Wi-Fi was switched off for no apparent reason. She only came in once to take out the rubbish. The blanket had an actual cigarette burn, and the bathroom was something else. You get what you pay for, I guess. I’d spend the money on a better place.

A good deal for the price. The owner was very polite and accommodating, and the rooms were clean. They did get quite hot, though there was a ceiling fan.
