Country House La Tana della Lepre

The apartment was new and had everything we needed, and the pool looks out over a magnificent view. We had a really pleasant stay at Borgo della Spiga. The lady of the house was so friendly and ready to help however she could. If you’re visiting this region, seriously consider staying here.

Everything was clean and in good condition, and the place has a stylish feel that made it easy to relax from the start. Deborah i Andrea are very kind and helpful owners, happy to give advice about the regio. The pool is a good size with room for everyone to unwind, and there’s even a little vegetable garden where you can pick tomatoes and other things yourself. A great choice for a quiet, relaxing holiday if you’re looking for a quality stay.

The place is quiet, clean and idyllic, with a charming feel despite looking new. Breakfast was nice, though I missed having traditional Italian coffee, since they only serve Nespresso. Dinner is available on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday when there are enough guests. We ate there twice and enjoyed the food. The host also gave us a detailed brochure of things to do nearby, which we appreciated. Getting around takes some effort: the roads are small and the drives can be long. We came in an electric car, and when booking the host said charging wouldn’t be a problem, either at the borgo or at a nearby charger. But she wasn’t willing to let us charge at the borgo, and with no super chargers close by, we had to plan around it. An overnight plug would have made the trip much more convenient. We shared this feedback, and she said she would look into investing in EV chargers. Cars will all be electric soon, and it would be great to see them fully incorporated into everyday life.

The view from the domain is amazing, and the pool is beautiful. Owners and staff are really friendly, while the rooms are modern and very clean. And if you love cats, this BnB will be right up your street. I’d recommend it!
