The staff were quite nice, and the toilet was clean, but I would never return. The toilet was shared, so it felt more like a dormitory than a hotel. The whole place looked very old, the hallway smelled of smoke throughout our stay, and the beds were hard as cement. There was no ventilation, and the room felt like an oven. The walls were so thin we couldn't even talk. I've traveled quite a bit and never stayed somewhere in these conditions. It felt like accommodation for refugees before they get sorted out. This hotel won't see me again.

The man at the front desk stayed late so we could check in at 12:40, lent us a charger, and got up at 5 so we could head out. That was really kind of him.

The rooms are okay, and the service is nice and helpful. Breakfast is a bit too simple, and the TV is a joke, smaller than an iPad Pro. Speaking Italian is a big advantage.

The owner, a nasty and vile woman, assaulted me, refused me water, locked me in my room, and tried to take my Mobil. They're con artists! I lost my card, and when I tried to pay with another one, she wouldn't let me and tried to have me arrested. The police were very aggressive, and even though her daughter spoke English, they refused to translate. I had to call the embassy, and the police wrestled the phone from my hands. Luckily the embassy called back and translated. After two hours, they finally agreed to take payment from another card! The worst hotel ever. Please don't stay here.
