Villa Del Mare Ligure Elvezia

Two days before our departure, in the middle of August, Maurizio told me our reservation had fallen through. He said HE HAD FORGOTTEN TO BLOCK AVAILABILITY ON THE ARB&B PORTAL, and they'd accepted a weeklong booking instead of our two nights. We were a group of 11 people. I'm speechless. We need more seriousness. I booked through Booking.com, and less than a minute later, a man called Maurizio rang my cell phone at 10:00 PM on Saturday. He asked about our group and told me checkout was 9:30 AM. We'd already read and accepted those conditions before booking. Then Mr. Maurizio offered to cancel through Booking in exchange for a 10% discount if we arranged things by phone. We accepted and agreed he'd call the next day to finalize everything. He didn't call, so I called him as agreed. He said he'd call back the following day. I waited, and at 2:00 PM he called with the news that the booking was gone.
