B&B I Cherubini

Breakfast was just right, at a time we'd picked to suit us, and we had a nice chat too. The owner also suggested places to eat and things to see. She's very kind, and the house has a family feel. She even let me leave my furry friend alone when there were no other guests, which I did. We found the place by chance and booked ahead. After emailing the owner, we settled on the room, price, and arrival time. I didn't get to see much of Lake Como because my time was limited and I had my dog with me. The Wi-Fi is poor, unfortunately, though I can manage without it even when I travel with my laptop. I'll definitely come back.

Odilla, the owner, was welcoming and kind, and a lovely person to talk with. Breakfast included plenty of drinks to choose from, like coffee and tea, biscuits, and a tasty homemade cake she baked herself. The B&B is inside a fenced property, with flowers and plants all around. The house was tidy and clean, and I felt at ease there. It's comfortable, and the nights were completely quiet.

The price felt very good for what you get. It's a small place, but I felt comfortable as soon as I walked in. It was clean and had a light, pleasant smell, with Tiffany-style decorations on the glass doors. The lady was kind, attentive, and artistic.

The place is old and smelled bad, and what we found didn't match what had been promised. There was no air conditioning, and construction outside meant we couldn't open the windows. Breakfast was only coffee and a dessert. We were given two small cots with children's mattresses instead of a double bed. This isn't worth €72. We didn't sleep there and went to a proper hotel instead, but they still took our €72. I wouldn't stay there even for free, and I don't recommend it.
