The surroundings are beautiful and the hotel has real charm and potential, but the rooms feel outdated. Our sheets had stains, the bathroom hadn't been cleaned properly, and the room was quite warm at night with no way to adjust the temperature. Breakfast was okay, though the quality wasn't the best. We were the only guests, and there was nobody at reception at night. It's a shame, because I think more people might visit this area if some changes were made.

The location is perfect and the room was quite nice, but we had two TVs and neither worked. The bigger issue was a large wedding in the hotel yard. The music and guests stayed very loud until at least 2 a.m., and nobody warned us beforehand.

This is only a review of the bar; I can't speak to anything else. After walking along the Via dell'Acqua, my husband and I stopped for a bite in the small square of Cison. We had high hopes, but soon regretted it. Our order took a long time, and the staff seemed listless, unsympathetic, and very disorganized. When I asked for another glass of wine, I got a snort in response. The €12 risotto I'd ordered and paid for was clearly microwaved. The meatballs came after another long wait, and they were the wrong ones, tasting different from what I'd ordered. The bill felt completely out of proportion to the quality of the food and service. I wouldn't recommend the bar.
