The host refused to refund me when severe weather, a natural disaster, made it impossible to reach the property. They were also extremely impolite in both communications, which made the situation worse. Before I arrived, I had asked about heating because the weather was unusually bad. I was told it was available for an extra €10 per day, a cost that hadn't been clearly disclosed upfront and seemed unreasonable given the already very high price. In exceptional circumstances, I'd expect basic fairness and courtesy. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

I had a lovely, relaxing holiday in Cisternino. Michele was a friendly, modest host who was always available. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.

The new pool is dreamy, and the trulli have been restored and furnished with such good taste. Michele takes loving care of both the property and the guests, and is a very attentive host. If paradise means living in harmony with nature, this feels like it. It's peaceful, and I highly recommend it. We'll definitely be back.

The Trullo San Michele we stayed in was lovely, recently renovated, and had a dining area, kitchenette with a washing machine and dishwasher, two bedrooms, and a bathroom. It really felt like stepping back in time. We were there last week, near Cisternino, surrounded by old olive trees and greenery, with spacious shared areas. If you have children who need room to play safely outdoors, this is a great fit. The owner was kind and helpful, and the price was very good. Congratulations, we’ll definitely come back!
