The garden is the first thing that stays with you: it’s huge, full of all sorts of plants, and has a lavender labyrinth. You can wander around, connect with nature, and learn about the work of preserving ancient seeds, all in a wonderfully picturesque setting. Paolo’s garden and shop feel like they belong in an Italian movie you’d love to be part of. This is such a unique and important place in the area, and missing it would have been my biggest regret of the trip. I also left with a lifetime’s worth of souvenirs: oils, body products, alcohol, ceramics, and more. I bought so much that I hope they’ll have restocked by your visit. Go!

I spent four nights at the hostel and had a great time. The garden is a nice place to sit outside, and inside there’s a spacious room, a good bathroom, and a full kitchen stocked with coffee and tea. It’s also well placed for visiting Locorotondo, Alberobello, Cisternino, and Martina Franca, all lovely towns.

So peaceful here, with the wind, the green smells, and everything feeling cozy and very green. There are lots of fruit trees, the owners are really friendly, and the bedrooms are super clean. They’ve thought of every detail you might need. Ahhh, I’m leaving a bit of my heart here. I’ll add more pictures for everyone...

Everyone should come by and support this important, successful project. The products are distinctive and tasty, and the people put real heart and thought into their work. Even in the shop they give you so much of their time. There are walking paths through fascinating plants and soil conservation projects, all in an idyllic setting.

The sunset is incredible, and the whole place feels so quiet and peaceful. The hosts are great, too. A fantastic spot to enjoy this lovely part of an amazing Italian region.
