Maison MilleOttocento

Pietro and Vittoria made our stay much easier. It’s a great place for families, and a handy base for just about anywhere you’ll want to visit in Puglia, including Ostuni and Alberobello. I’d recommend it.

The location was a dream, in the trulli dotted across the picturesque Itria Valley. We were close to the sea, with Torre Canne about 20 minutes away and Monopoli 35, and less than an hour from Bari, Brindisi, Lecce, and Taranto. The charm of the trulli and the owners’ kindness made our 10-day stay at Maison MilleOttocento so enjoyable. We stayed in the "Torretta" room, which works for a couple or a family with a small child. They provided a camp bed for ours. Next time we’d like to try the ground-floor apartment beside the owners’ home. Vittoria and Pietro welcomed us right away and gave us lots of tips for enjoying our room, the area, and the sea, plus recommendations for good places to eat. They left delicious freshly picked figs for us every day, which felt like a lovely sign of their sweetness and of our stay. We enjoyed chatting with them daily. They were always available and extremely kind, while never being intrusive. Their presence is a real plus. Thank you!

Vittoria and Pietro were extremely kind and always ready to answer our questions, while giving us plenty of space. The apartment was fully equipped, very clean, and quiet, with private parking. When we left, they gave us a jar of plum jam made by Vittoria. Highly recommended!

The town of Cisternino was lovely and intimate, and the drive to the sea took us through olive groves for a few kilometers. We were a family of five and felt comfortable in the pleasant, well-equipped house. It’s a wonderful place if you value peace and quiet. Warm greetings to our hosts, we’ll remember the stay fondly and hope to come back one day.
