B&B Casa Gaia

Good 👌😤

Gaia gave us a lovely welcome and was very kind. The B&B sits in a great spot for exploring the old center of this charming Umbrian town. Though the entrance is small and there are stairs inside, the rooms are roomy, spotless, and well cared for, with comfy beds and a cozy, home-like feel. Breakfast is served in a pleasant, well-stocked area; Gaia brought us some fresh seeded bread and a little local cheese. The family’s pizzeria is just downstairs and around the corner, which makes dinner easy. There are parking areas and streets nearby, or free parking just outside town, about five minutes from the B&B. Prices are very reasonable, and the staff are helpful. We had a lovely stay and hope to come back when it’s less rainy. ;)

Gaia was so welcoming and helpful, and the B&B is centrally located. Everything was great, with new, spotless furnishings and a generous breakfast. We’d recommend the restaurant downstairs and will be back.

Città della Pieve, in Italy’s green heart, is simply enchanting, and the B&B made our short stop just as lovely. We were only there for a day before heading to a beach holiday, but Gaia was incredibly kind, the rooms were comfortable, clean, and harmonious, and the self-service breakfast room felt like home. There was plenty of choice for an Italian-style breakfast, and I imagine savory options would be no problem if you ask. Dinner at the restaurant downstairs, run by Gaia’s parents and brother, was excellent and plentiful too. Could we give six stars? We had a wonderful time and will return! Roberta and Piermario.
