Pò delle Buche

We stayed in a comfortable room with a bathroom and kitchenette, and breakfast in the morning was generous, with both sweet and savory choices. The pool area looked lovely, but unfortunately it rained while we were there. The property is tucked behind a tree-lined avenue, rustic, welcoming, and well cared for. The owners were friendly, helpful, and discreet. It’s a pleasant place in the green Umbrian countryside, just a few kilometers from Città della Pieve, with birdsong and flower scents to wake up to. A good choice.

Starting the day with breakfast beneath the Centenario oak was such a pleasure, and the pool was magnificent, clean, and at a great temperature. We spent three wonderful days here. Carla and Antonio were so friendly and affectionate, and made us feel completely at ease in their beautiful estate. A real pleasure. Margarita

We came upon Po' delle Buche unexpectedly, and can’t wait to see Carla and Antonio again and give them a hug. They were so thoughtful and kind, looking after us like royalty, almost like their own children. They treated us to crostata, zucchini fritters, and a barbecue in their splendid garden. At the end of an olive-lined drive and behind a wrought-iron gate, the place feels like a little corner of paradise. There’s such a sense of calm, happiness, serenity, and kindness here. Pure Italian bliss, pure happiness.

Carla and Antonio made us feel so welcome, with hospitality all around. The apartment was just right and had everything we needed. The farmhouse is heavenly, surrounded by nature, and the pool and the view are breathtaking. Thanks for this holiday, and enjoy your stay!
