The room was almost perfect, but my one-night stay at Garden Holiday on August 18th left me less than satisfied. The property was hard to find because there was no sign, and there was no check-in at all, not even online.

It looks maintained at first, but the place needs attention. The sink tap is loose, the shower enclosure won’t close properly, and the surroundings aren’t clean enough. Breakfast was poor, and the conditions felt unhygienic.

I was really disappointed to find a sewage smell in the bathroom. Breakfast was just coffee and a brioche, while everything else cost extra and was served in the grocery store. I’d booked three days, unfortunately.

Inside, it’s definitely clean and works well for a work stay. The outside is far below the minimum standard. It wouldn’t take much to make the place genuinely good.

We arrived to find the room in a terrible state and not ready. I’d spoken to the owner the day before and was told everything would be set, but it looked as if nobody had cleaned the room in a long time. I had to find somewhere else in a hurry. I really can’t recommend this place.
