Le Terrazze Sul Pollino B&B

I could have stayed longer just to sit on the balcony and watch the sleepy pace of life go by. The mountain views from both sides of our room let in a lovely breeze, and we slept so well. Inside, everything felt cosy, safe, very clean, and comfortable, with lots of thoughtful little touches. Debra is lovely, and her breakfasts really do deserve their reputation. Le Terrazze B&B made our stay in Civita a wonderful taste of Italian hospitality. We were sorry to leave. Both the village and the B&B are special.

Debora's kindness and the breakfasts won us over during our short break. The staff were so welcoming, and the property is full of character, carefully kept, and spotless. The village setting is a dream, surrounded by greenery and dramatic mountain views. We had a wonderful holiday here and will be back in August for a longer one. Thank you!

Debora made the place feel like a family home while giving us plenty of privacy. She was kind and attentive throughout, and suggested several interesting things to do in the village. One highlight was an immersive bird-of-prey experience that brought us just a stone's throw from a golden eagle. I'll write about that separately. We stayed three nights, and the comfort of the mattress made a real difference to our sleep and to enjoying the holiday. Our spacious, well-equipped room had a balcony with a view that was stunning by day and enchanting at night. Cleanliness, comfort, and location were all excellent. From the start, Debora had left seasonal fruit, homemade tart, and herbal tea in the room. Breakfast was generous, with both sweet and savory options, plenty of local specialties, and many homemade items. Debora's warmth and care made this a lovely stay. If you're staying in Civita, this is a winning choice.

We took her advice on what to see nearby and had a really enjoyable holiday. There was so much to do around Pollino: we soaked in the hot springs, visited caves and museums, and tried the local food. The B&B matched its website descriptions, and we had a wonderful time at Le Terrazze.
