Villa Cecalina

We were there with the family in July. The annex is small, but clean and stocked with everything you could need. There’s a big garden and a private pool, and the owners were welcoming and very helpful. The closest beach is a five-minute drive and is good for children. I’d definitely stay again.

The setting at Villa Cecalina was the part I loved most: four hectares with olive groves, green spaces for privacy and walks, and a beautiful view from the terrace. We had coffee there in the morning and wine at sunset. The pool, tucked among the greenery, was a treat on hot days, with loungers and lovely rolling hills all around. We also spent some great evenings cooking outdoors on the Assado Grill. The cottage was modern, functional, and comfortable, with spacious, well-equipped rooms and plenty of privacy thanks to the surrounding wildlife. The bathroom stood out for its stucco Veneziano and raindrop shower. There’s no washing machine, but being close to Civita Nova and its amenities meant that wasn’t a problem. Emanuela and Mario were warm and attentive from booking through departure. Their suggestions for local activities and attractions helped us get to know the region. The whole stay felt peaceful and close to nature, with a touch of elegance. We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to return.

Everything is within easy reach, from shops and restaurants to the sea and beach, plus lovely old towns in the gently rolling countryside. Yet the place feels made for relaxing. The hosts were very kind and looked after our comfort discreetly. We loved the small, beautiful house, furnished with care and spotless, and the pool with its sea view was fantastic. A peaceful spot. We’ll be back!

We came back today after a week at this wonderful place. Emanuela and Mario, thanks for sharing your “Paradise” with your guests. You’re so friendly and helpful, you make people feel right at home. Roberto and Chiara
