B&BYanet's Beautiful House

The part we keep thinking about is how warmly Yanet and Sandro welcomed us. Their hospitality felt like being embraced by family, and the time we spent with them made the stay special. We had dinner together at a cute local restaurant with some of the best seafood in the area, then slept well in a great bed. The next morning, Yanet had prepared and cooked a delicious full-course breakfast in another apartment downstairs. The fridge was stocked with drinks, too, and the penthouse apartment was super clean. Its balcony was surprisingly spacious, wrapping around in a U shape with views over the area. We needed to get from our Rome hotel to Civitavecchia for our cruise, and local taxis and shuttles would have cost quite a bit. Sandro picked us up for less and brought us to their place. Before boarding, Yanet also drove my wife to a local shopping area, where the two of them seemed like sisters shopping together. Then she took us to the port, where we said goodbye with lots of affection and hugs. The whole experience makes us want to return to Civitavecchia even without a cruise. We’re keeping in touch with Yanet and Sandro, who feel like family to us now. Beautiful people!
