La Tenuta Dell'Argento Resort

Our room was huge, with a comfortable king sized bed and a jacuzzi tub. We were in the end room, #25, and had an incredible view of the countryside and the cruise port, only 3 kilometers away. The restaurant was amazing, with a big open kitchen where we saw the chefs preparing a suckling pig. Dinner was sumptuous and surprisingly reasonable. Stefania was especially kind and gave stellar service, and the rest of the staff made our stay fantastic. My wife and I chose to stay in Civitavecchia near the port before our cruise instead of in Rome, and took a car service from FCO Airport. The area was beautiful, and the place felt like a rustic inn more than a hotel. Everyone was friendly and helpful, even though some staff spoke little English.

We came at sunset and had a spectacular view, with a relaxed, rustic atmosphere. Dinner for five began with a cold cuts platter, then we had wild boar and mixed grilled meat. The thick cut rib steak arrived sliced on a warm stone plate so we could cook it to our liking. It wasn't hot enough to fry the meat. We had it changed, but the replacement was at the same temperature. That was fine for me since the cut was very tender. Excellent service, recommendations and wines. Great experience.

The owner and staff were so kind and helpful, and the rooms were clean and relaxing. We had a great view, too. The restaurant has a high-end rustic feel, and the chef is great. The meats, desserts and wines were excellent 👌🏼

The food at the restaurant was as good as it gets, especially the steaks. We had a lovely one-night stay before our cruise, and the staff arranged everything nicely and were super nice. Thanks to everybody at Tenuta dell'Argento. We'll definitely return.
