Sunrise and sunset from this lovely village palace were some of the most beautiful views I’ve ever seen. The old building is right on the main square. I stayed a few nights, found the room clean and well prepared, and had a great host who was precise and always available. Highly recommend.

Civitella’s whole community made us feel welcome, and we loved every part of this beautiful place and its warm hosts. It’s such a gem that we almost feel uneasy sharing it with the world!

We got clear directions from the host about where to leave the car in the public parking area. The breakfast idea in the room was simple but great, and the room was nice and clean. You’re right on the piazza in a medieval city, staying in a medieval house. It made for a romantic stay, with a lovely view from the window.
