Piero really knows the area and gives excellent tips. Oca Giuliva has just four rooms, each with its own interesting look: old prints, striped wallpaper, big white comfortable beds, curved mirrors, and old details set into the stone walls. It’s a cosy B&B in the main square of a tiny, lovely village, with little stone houses and older women walking up and down with their grocery bags. It feels like a postcard, well away from the tourist trail. CAN’T MISS IT!

We took a wrong turn and came across this place by chance, which turned out to be very lucky. Enza welcomed us after our unexpected arrival and was kind and helpful. The rooms are in a historic building in the heart of tiny Casale di Pari. Everything was clean and thoughtfully furnished, and the place was peaceful. The owners also put out a generous breakfast with lots of variety. It’s close to the Bagni di Petriolo spa, which is absolutely top-notch!

A quiet village makes it easy to unwind here, and there’s a big shared space stocked with books, snacks, and even a piano. The room was comfortable and well looked after, with a cosy bed and a shower that had plenty of hot water and pressure. Petriolo hot springs are only a few minutes away, adding another chance to relax.
