The staff made us feel welcome and comfortable, and the service was excellent. It’s a delightful traditional three-star hotel and restaurant, with comfortable beds, a good breakfast and great views over Cogne. I highly recommend it.

Loved every minute at this charming, genuine rustic hotel. The staff were amazing, and it overlooks the Cogne valley in a beautiful traditional alpine town. Tip: don't miss the turnoff for Cogne from the motorway in Aosta. You'll have another 30 km, or 30 minutes, of tunnels to get through before you can turn around again.

Dinner felt rushed from start to finish. We were given small portions, the panna cotta was still runny, and the risotto seemed to have been reheated in a microwave. In about 20 minutes we’d been served three courses, while the staff kept staring at us impatiently as if they wanted us out. The rooms are okay, but the meal and dinner service were really poor.

Gimillan gave me the quiet in nature I was looking for, and I loved being able to return there after an easy trip into Cogne. There are plenty of hiking trails close by, too. My room was clean, comfortable, and peaceful at night, and breakfast was delicious. I only stayed two nights and wished I could have extended my visit. The staff were so kind and friendly, especially Paolo and Lorenzo. A special place, and I’d happily recommend it.

Beautiful views and a very clean, tidy place. The interior has an old-school feel, breakfast was great, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Recommended.
